Issue 1 is here!

The inaugural issue of The Logan Square Literary Review is now available!

Our 30 page baby is for sale for $5, plus shipping, on this site, or come visit at the reception this friday to skip shipping costs!

The reception is this friday, November 13, from 8 to 10 pm at New Wave Coffee, 2557 N Milwaukee Ave, in Logan Square.

Also available for sale are two splendid little buttons to wear on your jacket, backpack, through your septum, wherever! Our thanks to Alex, Eric and the staff at Busy Beaver Button co. for these little beauties. Both feature drawings of the journal's logo, drawn by artist Aaron Miller

The circle is selling for $1, and the square, for $2.

You can order through paypal on this site, or send your order and a 5"x7" or larger self adressed stamped envelope to:

The Logan Square Literary Review
3220 W Armitage Ave. apt. 303
Chicago, IL 60647

Once again, 100% of the funds raised from issue and button sales are going back into the production fund for the winter issue.

I've extended the submission deadline for the winter issue to January 1st. Please keep the submissions coming!

Feel free to come to the reception even if you're just curious about the publication and want to know how you can get involved.

I'm still in talks with a few Logan Square businesses whom are willing to carry the journal, more information about them will be posted as decisions are made.

I'm excited and proud of the work I and the contributors have done and it is my hope that this neighborhood enjoys reading this project as much as I have producing it.

Now, Off!
Write with vigor!
